Service Description

This customized training is designed to help classroom leaders and support-staff establish genuine, influential connections with students, increase confidence in classroom LEADership (not just “management”), and ultimately raise the academic achievement for all students served at your school. Additionally, teachers will develop on a personal level- because a better Person makes a better teacher! Specifically, participants will learn the following: • Strategies for building trust and establishing influence with students authentically • Business strategies and the connection to teaching, learning and Ohio’s Social Emotional Learning Standards • Emotional intelligence (identify strengths and areas for growth) • How to identify and respond to personal implicit biases • How to managing classrooms through explicit instruction, systems, routines and engagement (trainer will model for staff) • How to incorporate evidence-based instructional strategies to increase student engagement AND memory
